About these terms
These terms cover the WigWag website and team services provided by WigWag. By using those services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
The license to the app downloaded from the App Store is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These service terms supplement that agreement and do not replace it or reduce rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Accounts and eligibility
Players of all ages may participate under adult supervision. A parent or legal guardian must authorize a minor’s participation and approve these terms on the minor’s behalf. Team owners and coaches must be at least 18 and have authority to manage the team.
Adult supervision or a coach’s approval does not replace legally required parental notice or consent. Before a child under 13 participates in features that collect personal information, the applicable parental privacy-consent process must be in place. See the children’s privacy section for the current launch status.
Provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials and team invitations. Do not share an account in a way that bypasses role permissions. Tell us if you believe someone has gained unauthorized access.
Team owners and coaches are responsible for assigning roles appropriately, obtaining permissions needed to enter information about players or opponents, and supervising use by younger players.
Responsible use on and off the field
WigWag supports coach-to-player pitch calling and session review. It does not guarantee that electronic communication is permitted in any particular game. Before play, check current rules for your association, age group, player position, and any optional sensor sharing.
- Keep devices secure and use them in ways that do not distract from safe play.
- Test connectivity before a session and keep a hand-signal fallback available.
- Do not use WigWag to cheat, harass, threaten, impersonate others, or share unlawful content.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access, defeat team permissions, disrupt the service, or misuse another player’s information.
- Do not upload material you lack permission to use or collect unnecessary sensitive information in team notes.
Team content and privacy
You retain your rights in the content you submit. You grant us permission to host, process, display, and transmit it as needed to operate the features you use, including sharing it with authorized team members and generating requested reports and exports.
Only enter information you have authority to provide. Sharing optional heart-rate information requires the player’s permission and relevant device authorization, plus any parental consent required for a minor. Device permission or a coach’s approval alone does not replace legally required parental consent. Do not make access to a team conditional on unnecessary health-data sharing or use readings for unrelated purposes.
Coaches are responsible for protecting downloaded CSV files and other copies they create outside the service. Requests about personal information can be made through our support page.
Reliability and health features
Call delivery depends on compatible devices, operating systems, permissions, battery, network availability, and third-party services. Calls or status updates may be delayed or unavailable. Do not rely on WigWag as an emergency communication channel or as the only way to communicate during play.
Optional heart-rate readings are informational sports-session context. They can be missing, delayed, or inaccurate and are not medical advice, a diagnostic service, a fatigue assessment, or clearance to play. Seek appropriate medical help when needed; do not delay care because of information in WigWag.
We may change features, maintain the service, or interrupt access to address security and operational issues. We will provide notice where required. Future sports or features described as coming soon are not promises of a particular release date.
Subject to mandatory consumer rights, the app’s warranty and liability provisions are set out in the applicable Apple Standard EULA. Nothing here excludes liability or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Purchases and subscriptions
Any paid feature, trial, or subscription will show its price, billing period, and applicable conditions before you purchase.
If you buy a subscription through Apple, billing and applicable renewal terms are presented by Apple. You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple account’s subscription settings. Deleting the app or requesting account deletion does not by itself cancel a subscription. Refunds for Apple-billed purchases are handled through Apple and applicable law.

The app license and Apple
Read Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. We use that standard agreement for the App Store app license unless a different license is expressly supplied with a future release.
WigWag is independently operated. Apple does not provide WigWag’s team service or endorse its performance, safety, or league eligibility. Questions about WigWag should be sent to us. Apple, iPhone, and Apple Watch are trademarks of Apple Inc.
Ending use
You may stop using WigWag at any time. To request removal of personal information, follow the contact instructions in our Privacy Policy. Leaving a session or team and uninstalling the app are different from deleting an account.
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, a violation of these terms, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and permitted, we will explain the action and provide a way to contact us. Any data handling after access ends remains subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the service or relevant requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where required. Changes will not retroactively remove rights already accrued. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
